About Lorna L. Cassell

Lorna grew up working alongside her parents on their farm, in their restaurant, Cassell’s Café, and in their real estate office; she is a second-generation REALTOR®. After graduating as the valedictorian of Stockton High School, Lorna obtained a B.S. in business administration from California Baptist University (Riverside, California) and her teaching certification at the University of Central Missouri (Warrensburg, Missouri). Later, she obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in administration, an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in administration, and a Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership all from William Woods University (Fulton, Missouri).

Lorna began her career in education as a technology instructor at Stockton R-I, and was soon asked to serve as Director of Technology, Federal Programs, and Grants. During her tenure, she obtained over $13 million in grants for the Stockton R-I School District. Today, Lorna is Principal of Martin Warren Elementary in Warrensburg, Missouri. In 2018, the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals honored her with the Distinguished Principal’s Award. She remains involved in real estate, guiding many young professionals, especially teachers, through the home-buying process.

Lorna is a member of the board of directors of the Warrensburg Schools Foundation,the University of Central Missouri’s Education Advisory Board, and previously was elected as member of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Stockton.

In her spare time, Lorna enjoys traveling across the U.S. and cheering for the University of Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish. Lorna and her husband, David Manley, have six children and one granddaughter.
