About Tonya R. Niermann

Tonya is a fifth-generation resident of Cedar County and a second-generation REALTOR®. After graduating from Stockton High School, Tonya obtained a B.S. in political science and German from Missouri State University (Springfield, Missouri). As an undergraduate, she studied at Heidelberg University in Heidelberg, Germany. She received an M.S. in sports medicine from the University of Central Missouri (Warrensburg, Missouri).

Tonya began her career as an athletic trainer at Boise State University (Boise, Idaho), and then worked at Parkview Health Care Facility in Bolivar, Missouri. Later, she worked as an educator in the Stockton R-I school district, teaching at-risk students in the alternative school, German in the middle and high schools, and English in the middle school. Tonya currently works as the Executive Assistant to the management team at Superior Gearbox, Inc., one of Stockton’s largest employers. Additionally, she is the licensed operator for Stockton Hills Water Company.

Tonya is an experienced real estate investor, having owned both single-family and multi-family properties.

Most weekends, she can be found enjoying Stockton Lake with her husband and two sons. Tonya also is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her flock of chickens or gardening.
